About us
Padraig Hogan
The Irish genealogist behind Maigue Genealogy.
Padraig spent almost thirty years in IT before turning a long-standing interest in family history into a second career. He first studied Electronic Engineering at the University of Limerick, then returned to genealogy through courses at UL and UCC.
He completed UL's MA in History of Family in 2020. At Maigue Genealogy, Padraig works across Irish records, probate questions, citizenship documentation, DNA matches and the family stories that sit behind the paperwork.
